From the first call to paid: how yprio runs the job side of your business

Getting found brings the calls. What happens next decides whether they turn into paid work. Here's how yprio handles quotes, bookings, invoices and payments.

A note before we start: yprio is made by the same team behind Grigori Local, so we're not neutral about it. It has a free plan, so you can judge it for yourself.

More visibility on Google means more calls. The next part is where a lot of local businesses lose time and money: the quote that takes three days to go out, the job that gets double-booked, the invoice sent a week late, the customer ringing to ask if you’re still coming.

yprio is built for that part. Its own description is “the job side of running a trade business”: quote on site, book the week, invoice the moment the job is done, and get paid.

The flow, one step at a time

  1. The phone rings. Save the customer once, with their address, email and history, and it’s there for every job after.
  2. Quote on site. Branded quotes with your logo, your usual items and photos, sent before you’ve left the driveway. The customer accepts or declines online, and you know the moment they do.
  3. Book it in. The accepted quote goes onto a calendar built for jobs: day, week, month and year views, repeat visits for regular customers, a warning before you double-book, and jobs assigned to your team. The customer gets a confirmation for their own calendar.
  4. On my way. One tap texts the customer your arrival time. With location sharing on, the time updates as you drive. It’s off until you turn it on, you choose when to share, and it stops when you arrive.
  5. Job done, get paid. Marking the job done opens the invoice, already built from the quote. Customers can pay by card from the invoice email, with payments processed by Stripe, or you record bank transfers and cash yourself, part-payments included.
  6. Receipts and the books. Photograph a supplier receipt and yprio reads the supplier, ABN, GST and totals. It can put the materials on the job’s invoice with your markup, and exports the receipts for your accountant.

Built for Australian businesses

Every line can be GST-inclusive or exclusive, and your ABN and payment details go on every invoice. Once an invoice is issued it’s locked as a record; changing it creates a new version, so your paperwork holds up when you need it.

What it costs

There’s a free plan at yprio.com: 25 invoices a month, no card needed, and a 3% fee when a customer pays an invoice by card. Paid plans run from $19.99 a month (Starter) to $89.99 a month (Large), with more invoices, receipt scans, team members and included text messages, and lower card fees, down to 0.25%. Recording a bank transfer or cash payment is always free, and Stripe’s own processing fee applies to card payments.

Who it suits

Trades and service businesses that quote, book and invoice jobs: electricians, plumbers, cleaners, landscapers, mobile services and the like. If you sell over a counter with a till, a point-of-sale system will suit you better.

How it fits with being found

Our job at Grigori Local is getting your business into the three that Google shows first. yprio is for what happens after the phone rings. A quick quote, a text saying when you’ll arrive and an easy way to pay are also the moments customers remember when you ask them for a review.
